Vinesh Nambiar
Vinesh believes that education in human values gives birth to innovation in the spiritual heart of every human being. This in turn creates individual revelation and societal elevation, which is one of the few things that can be done to change the world into one filled with Peace, Truth, Righteousness, Nonviolence, and Love. As such, Vinesh has made a vow to promote human values throughout his life using HV4K as his primary platform.
Vinesh is the President and co-founder of HV4K. He holds a B.S. in Business Administration, B.A. in Economics, and MBA from California State University, Sacramento. He also received a certificate in Human Values from the Sri Sathya Sai International Centre, New Delhi, for completing their Online Program on Human Values. Vinesh currently works as a Technical Project Manager for Solidigm Corporation.
Dorothy Nambiar
Dorothy believes that learning and practicing basic human values, such as courage, kindness and compassion, will allow children to make better choices in their lives, and she is convinced that instilling these values into all children will enable them to become better people, which in turn will benefit not only them as individuals, but our society as a whole.
Dorothy is the V.P./Treasurer/Secretary and co-founder of HV4K. Dorothy currently works as a Program Assistant for the California Reading & Literature Project at California State University, Sacramento.
Makoto Ishii, Ph.D.
Makoto believes that human values have the potential to be the single, most powerful unifying force in the world, and he has dedicated his life to the spread of human values.
Makoto holds a B.A. in Law and Teacher Certificate for Junior and Senior High School from Meiji University in Japan. He also holds an M.A. in Human Development from St. Mary’s University in Minnesota and a PhD in Human Science from Saybrook University in California. He is currently self-employed in Tokyo, Japan.
Greg Kim-Ju, Ph.D.
Greg feels that in order to address the current academic, social, and behavioral issues affecting K-12 students locally and nationally, paradigm shifts are required that focus on impacting social settings and building healthy individuals and communities. He believes that HV4K offers a novel approach to achieving this end.
Greg is the inspiration for HV4K’s Character of Research Effort (C.O.R.E.). He holds a B.A. in Psychology from St. John’s University in the Minnesota and a M.A. and PhD from Boston College. Greg currently works as a Professor of Psychology at California State University, Sacramento.
Sreeram Krishnamachari
Sreeram believes in value-based education so strongly that he would like to operationalize it throughout the entire public education system in the USA.
Sreeram holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Jawaharlal Technological University in Anantapur, India, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University, and an MBA from the University of California, Davis. He currently works as a Principal Group PM Manager at Microsoft Corporation.
