Vinesh Nambiar, President & Co-Founder

Vinesh Nambiar co-founded HV4K and has led the organization as its President for over 18 years. He brings a unique blend of business acumen and a deep commitment to the foundation’s mission. Vinesh holds a B.S. in Business Administration, a B.A. in Economics, and an MBA from California State University, Sacramento. His dedication to the core values of the foundation is highlighted by his certificate in Human Values from the Sri Sathya Sai International Centre in New Delhi. In his professional life, he serves as a Technical Project Manager for Solidigm Corporation.

Dorothy Nambiar, V.P./Treasurer & Co-Founder

Dorothy Nambiar is a co-founder of HV4K and has dedicatedly served as the V.P./Treasurer since 2007. She brings a strong financial background to her role, with a Diploma in Accounting from Kwantlen Polytechnic University in B.C., Canada. Her long-standing commitment is a testament to her passion for the cause, and she was instrumental in helping to establish the HV4K for Gift of Life Fiji program for the foundation.

Makoto Ishii, Ph.D., Board Member

As one of the original board members, Makoto Ishii brings a valuable academic perspective to the foundation's mission. His diverse and impressive background demonstrates a lifelong dedication to human development and well-being. He holds a B.A. in Law and a Teacher Certificate for junior and senior high school from Meiji University in Japan, an M.A. in Human Development from St. Mary's University in Minnesota, and a Ph.D. in Human Science from Saybrook University in California. Currently self-employed and based in Tokyo, Japan, Makoto’s unique blend of expertise directly informs and strengthens the foundation's core principles.

Greg Kim-Ju, Ph.D., Secretary

Dr. Greg Kim-Ju is an original board member of HV4K and voluntarily serves as the organization's Secretary. His extensive knowledge of human behavior and development is an invaluable asset to the foundation's work. He holds a B.A. in Psychology from St. John’s University in Minnesota and an M.A. and Ph.D. from Boston College. As a Professor of Psychology at California State University, Sacramento, his research and teaching, especially in areas like cultural and cross-cultural psychology, are perfectly aligned with the foundation’s mission to promote human values in diverse communities.

Sreeram Krishnamachari, Board Member

Sriram Krishnamachari has been a dedicated member of the HV4K Board for over a decade, providing crucial strategic perspective. His deep expertise in technology and business is a tremendous asset to the foundation. Sriram holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University, and an MBA from the University of California, Davis. In his professional role, Sriram serves as a Principal Group PM Manager at Microsoft Corporation. His long-standing commitment and diverse skill set are invaluable to the board.

Narendra Narayan, Board Member

Narend Narayan joined the HV4K Board of Directors in July 2025 to lead the foundation's emerging work for children in Fiji and the South Pacific. His leadership is backed by a long history of both professional success and dedicated philanthropy. As the founder and CEO of Innovative Circuits Engineering, Inc., an award-winning Silicon Valley tech company, he has over 30 years of business experience. Narend’s extensive commitment to humanitarian efforts is further demonstrated by his roles as founder and President of the U.S. Fiji Chamber of Commerce, U.S. Ambassador to the Sri Sathya Sai Sanjeevani Children's Hospital Fiji, a member of the One World One Family Foundation Fiji, and the founder of the Narayan Family Foundation.
